The Training Programme Director in Workplace culture, Support & Wellbeing will support the Head of School in the Strategic Development of the School of Surgery

The post holder will be a member of the board.

**The post holder will specifically have responsibility for**:

- Development and implementation of a strategy regarding improving workplace based culture. This will include education and enhanced roles in development of both educators and post graduate doctors in training (PGDIT)
- Support PGDIT’s in liaison with the Professional Support and Wellbeing (PSW) unit.

The post holder will lead on the development of the School’s Recruitment and Retention Strategy and contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme.
- The post holder will be a member of the School Board.
