Reed Engineering are currently working with a specialist manufacturer of ultra-low power integrated circuits for communications industries worldwide. Such products are designed for current and emerging analogue, digital and mixed-signal Two-way Radio, WirelineTelecoms and Wireless Data environments.

Key responsibilities:

- Development of any RF test hardware, firmware, and software for the test facility.
- Commissioning of the test facility including writing specifications and procedures.
- Maintenance of existing legacy software, test fixtures and test equipment (fault finding to component level).

Qualifications:

- Ideally qualified to HND, Degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline.

Essential skills:

- 5 or more years of experience working in a product-based electronics manufacturing environment.
- Read and understand circuit schematics and diagrams
- An understanding of RF and micro-wave circuitry and design principles.
- An understanding of RF and micro-wave test and measurement challenges.
- Familiarity with Vector Network Analysers (VNA) and Spectrum Analysers.
- Relevant experience in Software development.
