Reed Engineering are currently working with a highly established and growing contract electronics manufacturer who specialise in PCB assembly, prototyping and test for a variety products

Due to their ever-increasing order book, they are looking to grow their team and are currently looking to find individuals for the below positions.

**Junior Electronics Inspector salary £24-26k**:

- Programming Automated Optical Inspection Machines
- First off inspection using AOI
- Final Inspection using AOI
- Visual Inspection of Final Assemblies
- Visual Inspection of Reworked Products

**Test Technician salary £24-26k**:

- Complete test on all boards where required working to customer supplied test specifications.
- Work with customers to create test specifications where necessary to complete the tests they require.
- Liaise with Customers to feedback test findings to assist them in improving design and layout of boards.
- Fault finding on boards failed test and determine rework required to pass re-test.
- Fault finding on boards returned from customer, assist quality department in root cause analysis and continual improvement.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of equipment and records.

**Electronics Assembly Technician £20-22k**:

- Component pre-forming
- Through hole soldering using soldering irons
- Component insertion (manual)
- Programming Selective Soldering Machine
- Running Selective Soldering Machine
- Minor Mechanical Assembly (assembling heatsinks, fixing components to the board)
- Modification work
- Rework

**Mechanical Assembler and Box Build Technician £22-24k**:

- Managing workload to ensure assemblies go out on time
- Mechanical assembly following any notes and instructions
- Point to Point wiring to schedules and testing
- Create Special tooling/jigs when required
- Feedback to colleagues to improve process
- Feedback to customers to improve assemblies

**Additional information**:

- Standard full time 40 hours per week - core hours 9am to 4.30pm.
- Time over contracted weekly hours can be saved for time off when needed. Overtime is paid at time and a quarter.
