**About the role**

**Monday - Thursday 8.00 - 5.00pm, Fridays 8.00 - 2.30pm**

As our Purchase Ledger Clerk you will work as an integral part of the Finance team taking full responsibility for the purchase ledger and associated administration.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Matching, checking, and processing a high volume of purchase invoices
- Reconciling statements and liaising with suppliers
- Effective management of purchase invoice queries, both internally and externally
- Analysing and processing of credit card statements and expense claims
- Processing of sales invoices / credits for daily despatches / returns
- Assisting with month end procedures
- General office administration as required
- Occasional light reception duties
- answering the telephone / distributing calls
- organisation of visitor lunches

If you have obtained any relevant finance qualifications or are working towards a qualification that would be great, however what’s most important is that you have relevant work experience with a proven track record in similar roles.
