An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Bank Senior Band 6 Orthoptist at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust.

This position is a Bank position.

The days are weekend or week day dependent on the needs of the service.
- To provide orthoptic services as an autonomous practitioner within Sherwood Forest Hospitals.
- To assess, diagnose and manage the treatment of patients referred to the orthoptic service.
- To act as a source of expertise on the management of ocular motility and vision development disorders to patients, carers, consultants and other health professionals.
- To assess and manage patients referred to the Orthoptic stroke service.
