**Salary/Benefits**:

- £11.42 per hour
- Overtime available on weekends. Over contracted hours Saturday X1.5 pay Sunday X2 pay
- 25 days holiday exclusive of Bank Holidays

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate appropriate Health and Safety commitment to ensure that the corporate PROUD ethos is visible and promoted throughout all activities carried out at the site.
- Ensure you carry out your duties safely and compliantly
- Ensure correct PPE worn on site at all times
- Report any issues related to safety immediately to your Supervisor/Team leader or site management
- Report any near miss/accidents/incidents/non-conformance
- Ensure all waste movements on site from receipt to treatment and/or transfer from site are carried out in accordance with company procedures (SAP) and legislation to ensure all revenue is captured
- Maximise throughput by loading the plant at an appropriate rate and mix/blend - where unsure seek guidance from Supervisor/Team Leader
- Assist drivers with unloading /loading of vehicles when instructed to do so to ensure quick turnaround of company vehicles
- Working as part of the site team you will be excepted to carry out duties to assist other parts of the operation
- Load /unload trailers and/or containers as instructed to do so
- Operate the plant in line with site permits and consents, including monitoring emissions (where applicable) to avoid breaches
- Monitor the emission monitoring equipment (where applicable) and take the necessary action to avoid exceedance / breaches. Report any breaches to the plant/site manager
- Carry out all required operational checks and/or maintenance on site and equipment in accordance with PPM schedule
- Working with Supervisor/Team leader use initiative to solve problems as they occur
- Ensure all bins (770ltr) are washed and maintained after each use
- Ensure that site housekeeping is always of the highest standards, clean up litter as and where required

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience of working in a similar environment as Operator, Production Operative or Forklift Driver
- Have the ability to multitask within an industrial environment

**Desirable Skills**
- Forklift Truck Licence.
- Handling hazardous chemicals.
- Comfortable in working outdoors
- An understanding of health and safety

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.42 per hour
