Prestige Gifting is a proud Yorkshire based e-commerce business housing multiple gifting brands, focused around fresh flowers, plants, and seasonal food & drink hampers. Brands including Prestige Flowers, Prestige Hampers, 123 Flowers, Haute Florist and many more.

**Role Overview**
Prestige Gifting is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Design to lead our in-house, dynamic creative team. As the Head of Design, you will play a pivotal role in leading design projects, creating and overseeing visually stunning and engaging assets across various digital and print platforms, as well as leading a small team and leading their creative process.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of the end-to-end design process, conceptualising and producing captivating visual content for marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audiences, evolving concepts from initial designs to final artwork.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and technology, bringing new creative ideas to the team which are on trend and seasonal.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure consistency and synergy across teams and campaigns.
- Manage workflows, project timelines and deadlines to maintain a smooth flow of design tasks completed by the team, ensuring time and care is given.
- Maintain an eye for detail and quality control the team’s output, ensuring design work follows brand guidelines.
- Creating as well as following brand guidelines, bringing large personalities and finesse to our gifting brands.
- Art directing photoshoots with the team to ensure the campaign vision comes to life, working with our freelance photographer and videographer.
- Liase with Front end development to help create engaging landing pages to ensure high conversions on the websites.

**Qualifications And Skills**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, visual arts or a similar field
- Proven experience (7 years+) in a graphic design role, whether in-house or agency, preferably working within an e-commerce business.
- Previous management experience or mentoring junior members of staff is required for this role.
- Proficiency in industry standard design software: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects and Lightroom, Capture One would be a bonus.
- A robust portfolio of work showcasing digital, print and video.
- Digital design and Art Direction skills are mandatory.
- Video editing and UX/UI knowledge would be highly advantageous.
- An understanding of print processes, setting up print documents and designing packaging.
- Strong passion for e-commerce, digital marketing, and branding.
- A commercial mindset, balancing graphic design proficiency and finesse with commercial skills.
- Excellent, headstrong communication and leadership skills, as well as confidence in your ideas.
