ROLE SUMMARY

Self-starter who will work as part of a team when required. You will have the ability to work independently within your allocated territory with responsibility for the distribution and availability of the chosen portfolio.

You will achieve brand distribution targets and be responsible for identifying new outlets that are in line with our strategic ambitions and the negotiation of viable commercial agreements as well as maintaining existing relationships.

You will act as an ambassador for the business and leverage your relationships to seek a commercial advantage at all opportunities. as well as assisting in the implementation of innovative direct to consumer activation programs, carrying them out within the identified KPI’s and providing recommendations for future plans within HoReCa and Leisure Channel.

You’ll maintain and grow outstanding business relationships with HoReCa accounts and look after the HoReCa trading agreements within designated geographical area.

You’ll actively support the Activation team in the set-up, implementation and monitoring of any planned Leisure and Activation projects within the Leisure Channel.

You’ll research potential events or 1-2-1 opportunities for the Leisure and / or Activation teams to further evolve existing activity. You’ll explore new activation opportunities and develop advocacy programs, recommending and executing innovative ways to bring the relevant brands to life with maximum visibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

TERRITORY OWNERSHIP

You are responsible for building and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the Leisure channel within your territory. This can be outlined but not limited to the following:

- Understanding trends within the on trade in your area and nationally
- You will proactively seek new and innovative ways of developing our presence within the on trade
- Recognising the value of an identified outlet and negotiate and manage commercial agreements and challenge the status quo
- Leveraging the opportunity for Reduced Risk Products within your area and maximising the distribution of all associated items (BBU’s, POSM etc)
- You will maintain the distribution of our core brands and ensure that we receive suitable sales data from all contracted accounts
- Mange direct to consumer events and activities
- You will be required to educate key stakeholders and bar staff on identified products from time to time and act as an ambassador for the business
- You will be required to share research and findings in a compelling and detailed way that facilitates informed decision

TIME MANAGEMENT

Your role offers you flexible working. You are responsible for planning your call schedule and hours efficiently whilst giving all stakeholders visibility of your whereabouts and utilising the toolkit provided to support this.

REPORTING

You will make use of the ERP system provided so that your stakeholders have a clear understanding of the status within your territory. This system will also be used to monitor and validate the hours invested.

PERSONALITY

You will be a “people-person”, confident, out-going, well presented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Not afraid of a challenge, you will be self-motivated and results-driven with a positive outlook. Proven to be reliable and trustworthy, committed and honest.

JOB SKILLS

Sales or account management experience in a hospitality environment would be an advantage along with keen knowledge of the leisure channel within your assigned area. Experience in managing multiple accounts and attuned persuasion skills are key to this role. You will be tech savvy and familiar with Apple products and software.
