Inbound Associate

**Salary**: £12.55 / hour

**Hours: Monday** - Friday 08:00 to 16:00, Availability for quarter end Saturday if required (max 4)

**Key responsibilities & duties**:
To process all inbound customer units and provide support to outbound when required, following quality and safety standards at all times and to provide onsite support to the client in ensuring that all tasks relating to order receipt and entry are completed in a timely manner and with 100% accuracy.

**Principle activities include**:
The main duty of the Inbound Associate is to process all inbound customer units with 100% quality and on-time delivery.
- Unpacking of all inbound units received from external sources and work with carriers.
- Working in line with standard procedures to ensure 100% quality of units processed through inbound.
- Working to achieve departmental and personal targets whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Work within a team and consistently demonstrate: Values in action, integrity, highest levels of professionalism, attitude, co-operations, temperament and policy compliance.
- Must be a self-starter, able to manage time and multiple activates, able to appropriately identify times when support guidance or manager interaction is required. Able to interact and engage with peers in a positive way to resolve daily issues and drive change improvement implementation.
- Provide support to the Operations Team Supervisor and Manager with running and analysing reports as and when required.
- Able to interpret analysis and data sets to drive a culture of fact based decision-making. Ability to formulate data and to aid decision making and action.
- Identifies and supports opportunities for continuous improvement on processes to aid quality and efficiency and communicates with the team effectively.
- Maintaining 6S in work area.
- Packing of all outbound units.
- Working in line with standard procedures to ensure 100% quality of units processed through outbound.
- Reconciliation of paperwork to units for shipment.
- Preventing any escapes due to poor packaging / incorrect paperwork.
- Flexibility with working time - month ends, AOG’s, etc. to be discussed in advance
- Plan and manage daily process area output in alignment with performance and quality targets.
- Any other reasonable request by the Management.

**Minimum qualifications, experience and Academic qualifications**:

- No Qualifications required - full training will be provided by the client
- Experience within Aerospace is desirable
- Experience of working a fast-paced warehouse environment is essential
