In addition to the above and as outlined in the job description, the MEED Liaison Practitioner will: Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for clinical governance of own work within Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust or ULHT according to Trust policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines and standards at all times and promote competent practice within and integrated, multi - disciplinary setting. Take a lead role in the co-ordination, delivery and evaluation of the MEED/ AEDS training strategy and programme, in conjunction with relevant leads and the MEED Oversight Group. Receive and participate in regular clinical and management supervision in accordance with professional practice guidelines. Plan and prioritise own clinical workload, service activities, supervision needs, and continuing professional development in the best interests of the service being provided.

Ensure clinical delivery and implementation of the MEED guidance across the acute hospital and other relevant settings. Regularly undertake Audit of the performance of the MEED pathway benchmarked against national and local standards. Develop and encourage service user and carer involvement when establishing MEED Pathway processes and service development. Actively encourage and support frontline staff to adopt an MDT and joined up or Team around the patient -TAP approach and consider the needs of the patients when providing care.
