**Overall Purpose**

An Academic Administrator is responsible for the administration of a specific academic program, project, service, or function to include academic program planning, implementation and evaluation. This job performs administrative functions directly related to academic instruction by Head of School.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**

B3 Condition:

- participating in daily submission meeting with Academic, Registry and Student Services staff members to discuss submission and marking issues.

Moodle Administration:

- creating on-time and re-submission links in Moodle.
- enrolling relevant teaching, registry and customer services staff members in VLE, at the beginning of each semester.

Supporting UoB Operational Lead:

- in updating and uploading teaching and learning resources in VLE
- coordinating Academic Misconduct hearings
- communication with Cover tutors, enrolling them to cover module and provide with relevant information.
- arranging meetings and keeping minutes of the meetings.

**Additional duties**:

- to be familiar with all the institution’s rules and regulations including those relating to health and safety.
- to undertake any other duties (within the level of the post), which may reasonably be required and requested by line manager.
