The hotel is also a stunning wedding venue and is licensed for civil ceremonies can cater for up to 250 guests.

**The Role**

As a dedicated member of the sales team, you will be responsible for the efficient sales and administration of all wedding bookings but also responsible for other events at the hotel. You will have the ability to organise and manage a varied workload, with an eye for detail and a passion for providing the highest level of customer service whilst maximizing revenue. We are looking for a well presented, confident individual with the drive to succeed in a busy sales office environment. As the role is very customer focused then evening and weekend work is sometimes required to be able to meet prospective couples.

**Requirements of the role**:

- Consultations and showrounds with potential clients
- Administration of all weddings and events from initial enquiry to post event follow up. Including proposals, contracts, function sheets and invoicing.
- Liaise with external suppliers and coordinate operational requirements with all relevant departments, attending the operations meeting on a weekly basis
- Awareness of hotel pricing structure and targets to meet financial requirements
- Participation on the day of wedding fayres and open days at the hotel when required and also external wedding events when required

**Skills and experience required**:
Ability to negotiate and propose a package to the customer to meet their needs

and the hotels financial requirements
- Build relationships with regular clients and external suppliers
- Good communications skills at all levels
- Prioritise tasks and adapt to changes with the ability to work unsupervised using own initiative but also part of a very driven team
- Proficient use of computers including word, excel, publisher. Previous experience of hotel reservation systems is preferred.
- A genuine desire to ensure the customers needs are fulfilled and a passion to succeed

Salary is negotiable based on experience.
