Cherry Professional are working with an industry leading business who are looking to recruit a part time **accounts payable assistant** on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
To succeed in this role, you will build on your accountancy understanding, your previous experience in delivering excellence in customer service, as well as your excellent communication and organizational skills.
**Deliver a best-in-class Accounts Payable proces
**Ensure on-time payment of invoices to vendors by running the Accounts Payable process in line with process design. Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to successful execution of payments.
Understand and resolve parked and blocked invoices, as well as vendor debit balances. Perform ad-hoc analysis, query management, identification and resolution of service delivery issues. Reconcile vendor statements in a timely manner.
Customer satisfaction: Develop good working relationships with both internal business partners as well as external vendors. Provide a high-quality service to all stakeholders. Resolve vendor queries efficiently and accurately.
Responsible for imaging and record retention of all A/P documents.
Provide support to the wider accounting team, including e.g. balance sheet reconciliations.
At least 1 years experience in a similar role Ability to work to tight deadlines Knowledge of general accounting procedures Flexible team player Ability to retain information and learn quickly
