**Job purpose**:
Create, issue and maintain production plans within the factory to ensure stock levels maintained and production is scheduled in a timely and efficient manner.
**Key accountabilities & responsibilities**:
- To produce and update production schedules to meet forecasted requirements and minimise non-productive time
- To produce production orders and distribute to all relevant departments, providing information required for production
- To confirm availability of raw materials (eg. Moulds, glazes) with relevant departments to meet production schedules
- To maintain SKU data and keep all reports/spreadsheet tools up to date
- To attend daily Ops team meeting to monitor performance of production plan and understand any issues.
- To advise and agree any priorities for production with Production/Operations team
- To update biscuit stocks accurately and audit all Oracle movements
- To maintain production orders to maintain data integrity in Oracle
- To liaise with Customer Services/Sales Admin teams to provide lead time and expected availability dates.
- Creation of SKU data in Oracle in line with current procedures
- To run and produce reports as required (regular weekly and ad hoc requirements)
- To take a key role in regular stocktakes, organising stock take books, counts and assist in correction to Oracle data.
- Ad hoc tasks as required by line/department manager, reasonably related to skills, knowledge and experience
**Qualifications, skills & experience**:
- Previous production planning experience (desired)
- Experience of working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment (required)
- General understanding of production and production processes (desired)
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business and external contacts (required)
- High level of attention to detail (required)
- Ability to work and remain calm under pressure (required)
- Flexibility - ability to be flexible, making decisions and actioning change at short notice (required)
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel (required).
- Experience of using Oracle or similar system (desired)
