As the Product Marketing and Communications Specialist supporting the UK business, you will develop and execute the communications strategy, defining the narrative and messaging to engage a range of stakeholders. This will include developing and delivering stand out communications campaigns, managing communications content for solution launches and creating thought leadership content to positively position the business aligned to key topics, themes and customer personas. Working with a range of stakeholders across the business, the Product Marketing and Communications Specialist should support key business objectives and ensure all communications content aligns to the global ABB E-mobility communications strategy, consistently delivering the highest quality recommendations and executions.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develops and implements communications strategy, plan and activities including messaging, thought leadership, media relations, social media, digital / web content - content designed to educate and inform key stakeholders including customers, management, employees, trade media and other relevant interest groups. Support communications around product launches.
- Ensures executional excellence throughout the area of responsibility for all communications measures in line with brand positioning, global communications strategy, and local business initiatives.
- Takes responsibility for all media relations and public relations within assigned area.
- Owns website maintenance and localization with language and country-specific content. Plans and executes all local web, Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing campaigns.
- Identifies Face-to-Face event strategy including which events, what content and products should be presented, budget, event promotion, lead collection, and owns execution. Manages the local stock of demo units to be used during events.
- Manages campaign lead generation - develops marketing automation campaigns and included assets, such as newsletters, social media posts, advertisements, and webinar execution.
- Coordination and planning of virtual conferences, webinars and digital events including securing sponsorships, coordinating registration, event promotion and related process.
- Develops and owns local internal communication strategy, including providing tools and supporting local management on employee communications, presentations, events, etc.
- Develops customer success stories and case studies.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in communication related field, with 5+ years experience in marketing and communications.
- Experience in marketing technical products to the B2B/ B2C market and addressing customer needs with appropriate value proposition development.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to present information to various levels of stakeholders including peers, management, partners, customers, and/or suppliers.
- Strong organizational and financial planning skills.
- Experience in maintaining websites and content management systems.
- Experience in working with marketing and communication suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
