**About the role your role with us...**

The moment a guest steps into our hotel, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Receptionist, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience, you’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.

As well as having 12 guest bedrooms, we also have Phoenix Treatments and Beauty and Beauty Culture on site. You will join a close knit team to help make all 3 of the above businesses a success by delivering exceptional customer service, having a hard working work ethic and help with any additional tasks that suit the day ahead.

Please note this is a weekend reception role, so you would require full weekend availability.

**Example of your daily tasks**:

- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations (for Hotel, Spa and Brow Bar)
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Assist cleaners with turning over rooms when needed - if fulfilling the housekeeping role, this will be part of your day
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

**Days needed**:
**Either Saturday or Sunday 10am-7pm**

**Housekeeping shift either Saturday or Sunday 10am-2.30pm**

Extra shifts will be available with notice for holiday cover.

**About You...**
- Experience in a similar or front facing customer service role with an outgoing and bubbly personality
- Strong communication skills through a variety of means
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills to ensure a seamless and memorable experience, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- High attention to detail and accuracy - great at managing one’s own time
- Have a big focus and eye for detail in regards to keeping the hotel standards high (or making them better)
- The ability the clean rooms to a high standard
