**Overview**
MPH is looking to recruit a **Painting & Decorating Apprentice **to provide general assistance to a qualified decorator whilst also receiving training. This is a varied support role as part of a team delivering construction and maintenance services for clients in Wales and the Northwest of England.
You will be working on the frontline delivering a variety of manual and trade-based tasks as part of a site team. The role will require an ability and enjoyment of working using your hands, with various tools and materials, with a practical approach to problems solving.
**Job Duties will include**:
- Wallpapering.
- Understanding and using decorating equipment and tools correctly.
- Calculating the materials required for a project.
- Removing old paint or wallpaper.
- Preparing surfaces for decorating by filling holes and sealing cracks.
- Taking deliveries, moving, stacking, and storing materials.
- Listening to instructions and directions given.
- Attending site punctually.
- Assisting other trades when required.
- Working to specific deadlines, with overtime required on occasion.
MPH Head Office is Based in Mold, however, please note you will be you will be covering the North/Mid Wales & Northwest areas. A competitive remuneration package will be offered, which will progress as you develop with the company.
