**We have openings for you to join us as a Support Worker at our beautiful Botton Village, near Danby, North Yorkshire.**
**Job title**: Support Worker
**Location**: Botton Village, Near Danby. North Yorks. GOOGLE MAPS
**Purpose**:To provide autonomous support to the elderly people we support to fulfil their potential for independence, choice, inclusion and control
**Salary**: £17,940 per year _(NB: This is on a four-week payment cycle meaning you get paid 13 times per year at _£9.20 per hour_). _Salary will increase from April_
**Hours**: 37.5 hours

**Who are we looking for?**
You’ll have experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities, elderly support or working with those with dementia.
- You may be looking for that ideal role where you can support the individual needs of the people we support: _you’ll enjoy taking people out to enjoy the activities they love and help them lead a fulfilling life._
- Support Workers with driving licence will be ideal: _not only to get to Botton Village but also to use our pool cars so you can take people out on daily activities._
- You’ll have a supportive and encouraging natural approach: _our tenants live in their own shared houses and will need support and guidance to maintain their home, use laundry equipment, cook, plan shopping and will need help looking after their finances_
- You’ll have a general education, good numeracy and literacy skills and Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Care (or equivalent)
