McCarthy and Stone are excited to recruit a new **Systems Business Partner** within our busy, forward-thinking, Finance Department.

- Role will be a mix of working from home and being based in our modern Head office in Bournemouth 2-3 days each week.

This role will suit a person who has a dedicated working style with the drive and enthusiasm to motivate others and improve processes. Acting as a key member of the Services Finance team they will take pride in the service provided to both internal and external customers, and as such must be a strong communicator and have the ability to comply with strict processing and reporting requirements.
- Background in IT and/or Systems Administration with a good understanding of financial systems, configuration and integration
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or a QBE applicant with relevant experience of active business partnering/stakeholder management and preparation of accounts/budgets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to comply with strict processing and reporting requirements
- Strong system skills - Excel, Databases, Reporting tools. Ideally with some experience of Adaptive, Qube and Power BI or other similar tools

The Development Accounts Systems Business Partner will assist the Senior Development Accounts Business Partners in preparing accounts and budgets for a portfolio of Developments and in addition will be involved in the preparation of budget data files, updating and maintaining budget models in Adaptive and the production of reports from Adaptive to support the Team.

**Main responsibilities of a Systems Business Partner include**:

- Work closely with the Operations Managers to come up with realistic and reasonable budgets and ensure robust process controls are in place
- Prepare and distribute budgets and year end accounts for Developments within the required timescale
- Ensure Operations Managers and Homeowner queries on accounts and budgets are responded to on a timely basis and in a professional manner which is conducive to our five-star Customer Satisfaction rating.
- Work alongside other members of the Services team as necessary to support business objectives.
- Ensure audit queries are cleared on time.

**Skills and Experience required for a Systems Business Partner**:

- AAT qualified (or working towards) would be preferable.
- Strong team player and able to motivate and develop a team in order to meet deliverables
- Ability to comply with strict processing and reporting requirements
- Able to rapidly develop good working relationships, and work across organisational boundaries
- Flexibility in approach and willingness to work in a busy processing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to track and fix errors
- Maintains a positive and 'can do' approach
- Operates with an approach of continuous improvement
- Recent experience of business partnering non finance stakeholders/functions
- Strong system skills - Excel, Databases, Reporting tools. Ideally with some experience of Adaptive, Qube and Power BI or other similar tools
