We currently have a new opportunity for a **Stores Person** at our depot in **Great Blakenham**, where you will become an integral part of our ongoing street lighting installation and maintenance projects across Suffolk. Bouygues Energies & Services has a long-established highways and street lighting business that works alongside local government authorities and tier 1 contractors across parts of the UK.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- To assist in the day-to-day management of the stores areas
- Issuing of materials and equipment to staff on site
- Keeping both the stores and yard areas clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Ensure safe storage of all materials and equipment to manufacturer’s specification
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Ensure the upkeep of the yard to maintain a working environment
- Provide cover for distribution drivers
- Any other stores related duties as required
- Working 45 hours per week

**Qualification Required**:

- Previous commercial vehicle driving and stores experience essential
- Forklift (Counter Balance) qualifications
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Must have previous experience working in a yard or warehouse environment
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills, be numerate and well organised
