We are a friendly firm of accountants based in Shirley, Solihull, and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small team.

Key responsibilities and duties for this placement include:

- Preparation and filing of VAT returns
- Reconciling ledgers
- General bookkeeping
- Admin. duties where required

Ideal skills and requirements for the role would be:

- Experience in VAT return preparation is essential
- Strong IT skills (inc. competency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook)
- Strong customer liaison skills
- Experience in QuickBooks is preferred but not essential

We believe this role would suit someone who has achieved AAT or equivalent qualification and has accountancy experience.

Salary is dependant on experience.
