**ABOUT YOU**

**Required skills and experience**:

- **Materials Selection**: Advising on appropriate materials and design considerations to prevent in-service materials degradation and achieve specified requirements. Understanding the corrosivity of external environments and internal process conditions with respect to their impact on carbon steels, corrosion resistant alloys (CRAs) and non-metallic materials. Designing test programmes to assess materials suitability for service conditions where theoretical assessment is not feasible.
- **Corrosion Management**: Auditing existing systems and conducting corrosion risk assessments, materials adequacy audits and reviewing / recommending corrosion control and monitoring requirements. Also conducting corrosion risk assessments using statistical modelling and uncertainty principles.
- **Integrity Management & Risk-Based Inspection**: Conducting fitness-for-service assessments (to Level 1 and 2) on piping, pipelines and static equipment and developing risk-based in-service inspection and monitoring plans.
- **Corrosion Control Design**:Selection, design and specification of corrosion control measures including, material selection, chemical treatment requirements, coating specification and cathodic protection, specification and related troubleshooting.

- Be responsible for managing projects, including client interface, from enquiry to completion.
- Oversee the professional development of technical staff.
