SF Recruitment are looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to join a growing business based in Central Birmingham

£55,000 - £60,000
Job Overview
To provide a comprehensive Facilities/Maintenance, Security and Health & Safety Service across the spectrum of sites as required. To provide ad-hoc services as required to support owner and CEO.
Key Responsibilities
This will include but is not limited to:

- To provide a comprehensive Facilities, Maintenance, Security and Health & Safety Service across the estate.
- To ensure compliance and maintain certification across all relevant areas of maintenance, security and H&S legislation and standards.
- To demonstrate governance and track performance through development of key performance indicators and reporting.
- To ensure all facilities are compliant and maintained in good working order.
- To ensure planned preventative maintenance, repairs and small works are completed to buildings and plant equipment as required.
- To effectively manage the Facilities and Security budgets whilst continually reviewing and delivering value to the business.
- To develop a security plan and rota to ensure that the buildings can function securely as required by operational demands.
- Provision of support and resolution of issues for Security, Health, Safety and Environmental audits.
- To manage the Birmingham Data Centre
- To manage the Company vehicle fleet and ensure sufficient controls and measures are in place.
- To manage contractors and in-house colleagues to deliver maintenance, remediation, and small works.
- To provide organization, leadership and management for capital projects.
- To ensure a robust contractor management process is in place and ensure all contractors hold the required permits, competencies, and implement risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work
- To a point of escalation and be prepared to attend call out's both in and out of hours.
Person Specification
- Degree level education or relevant experience
- 5+ Years of Facilities Management of commercial office space at a senior level.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
- Working knowledge of Environmental standards.
- Contractor Management, selection, and negotiation.
- Security management including manned guarding, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Protection.
- Any exposure to a Datacentre environment and plant would be beneficial.
