**Claims Operations Technician**
**City of London - Onsite 2/3 days a week**
**6-month contract**
**Inside IR35**
My client, a Global Insurance Company is looking for a Claims Operations Administrator, to provide operational claims administration services to the Claims Department so they can ensure that all valid Claims are paid fairly and promptly.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage Claims Legal mailbox and liaise with Treasury and Claims team to ensure that payments are being made within deadline.
- Setting up & updating of claims from Claims Legal mailbox
- Assist Claims Ops team with central mailbox management liaising with internal and external teams
- Co-ordination of Broker, TPAs and Xchanging queries / incomplete items
- Bordereaux Management
- Assist / Coordinate with Internal and External audits
- Support Offshore claims team
- Reporting for the Claims team; and other administrative tasks which support the Claims department.
**Skills**
- Good understanding & experience of London Market claims processes and procedures.
- Strong Excel skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of transactional insurance systems - Claims Centre; ECF; and/or Iris is highly desirable.
