**Flying Futures are recruiting experienced Teachers/Tutors/Facilitators to deliver engaging, inspiring and interactive sessions to 15-17 year olds during their NCS experience**

**Suitable for Teachers/trainers/Facilitators.**

**The post holder will prepare and implement various sessions across a number of locations in Yorkshire to support in achieving outcomes as part of the NCS programme. The post holder will travel to various locations to deliver against the curriculum ensuring outcomes are met and sessions are delivered to a high standard.**

**This post is not residential based and the post holder will be required to drive to and from venues across Yorkshire & Humber on a daily basis.**

**Responsible for**
- The post holder is responsible for the delivery of various sessions at NCS residential sites as dictated by the curriculum and ensuring outcomes are met in each session.
- This post is not residential based and the post holder will be required to travel to and from venues on a daily basis. There is opportunity for overnight stay should this be required and convenient for the successful delivery of the programme.
- Access to a car and full driving licence essential as travel is required. Travel expenses included.
- If successful in interviewing for this role, you will be invited to an assessment centre (details listed below)
- As part of your preparation for the role, you will be expected to attend a training session (details listed below).

**Delivery responsibilities**
- Ensure the safeguarding of all young people is of top priority ensuring processes and policy is adhered to at all times.
- Build a positive rapport with young people in a variety of cultural, economic and social backgrounds to guide them through their NCS experience
- Facilitate and support the delivery of high quality sessions to groups of young people, ensuring delivery meets the curriculum guidelines.
- Act as a role model, ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach at all times.
- Ensure activities are engaging, inclusive and accessible to all young people attending, offering support, guidance and coaching throughout.
- Adhere to Flying Futures policies and processes and ensure risk assessments are followed at all times to ensure safety of participants and staff.
- Ensure equipment and resources are readily available for delivering high quality sessions
- Liaise with Programme Leads to arrange logistics relevant to each session
- Any other duties as required.

- Ability to motivate and inspire individuals and teams to fulfil their potential.
- Experience in delivering engaging workshop style sessions with 15-17 year olds
- Assertiveness, resilience and confidence to achieve desired results
- Good communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Experience of working in a fast paced, and demanding environment with the ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
