We have an exciting opportunity to join the Urology Waiting List Team working as a Trust Wide Waiting List Clerks - we have one part time vacancy being advertised

Your role will entail managing the day to day running of the waiting lists, ensuring Urology lists are booked to the required parameters where you will work closely with the business units, Theatre schedulers and along with others, to ensure the patients journey during their treatment is a smooth as possible.

To facilitate an efficient, effective and responsive administrative support and maintenance of surgery waiting lists.

To ensure patients receive their surgery appointments in line with all National, Trust and in-house policies.

To maintain a high standard of quality in providing the Choice & Access Service, supporting patient’s, clinical staff and the Trust in achieving their goals.

To produce high quality patient information for the Trust to enable maximum use of resources and to support service level agreements and planning of future service.

The main duties will be to assist the Trust in providing patients with their Urological treatment start dates for our patients across the county, achieving Choice & Access and Theatre targets by ensuring the RTT codes are accurately recorded and taking instruction from the Theatre Schedulers / Business Unit as to which patients to book in priority order.

You will ensure patients receive all relevant information in a timely and effective way and work with the teams to ensure that we are working in line with the current COVID restrictions.

You will ensure all data relating to patients is captured in a timely and accurate manner whilst maintaining data protection guidelines.
