Quality Auditor Supervisor - 6 Month FTC

**Bedford**

Reporting to the QA Manager you will be accountable for monitoring, supervising and evaluating the Quality Auditors daily work activity across all shifts to ensure that the quality audit function takes place effectively. The supervision of the team will involve day to day contact and involvement to mediate and support them with any technical issues.

You will be great at:

- Managing and developing your team
- Understanding food safety continuous improvement efforts (complaint reduction, training), etc
- Ensuring shift reports are managed and followed up
- Liaising with Hygiene and QA to complete appropriate testing and feedback to Hygiene Manager and / or Technical Compliance Manager
- To hold regular technical meetings with your team liaising with bake-off, QA Manager and Technical Compliance Manager
- To participate in HACCP and supervision of QA CCP audits
- Investigation & administration of quality incidents and customer complaints, identifying root causes and facilitating corrective action with operational teams
- Woking with the QA Manager and Technical Compliance Manager to understand NCR’s
- Assisting with product launches and similar NPD or trial work
- Leading and control traceability exercises and compile traceability information for auditing purposes

You are:

- A team player with a willingness to assist colleagues
- Diligent with excellent attention to detail
- A competent user of IT software including Outlook and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A good communicator with strong oral and written communication abilities

You have:

- Demonstrable interpersonal, leadership and people management skills
- The ability to liaise with people at all levels and to ensure delivery of work on time especially on investigations or NCR’s
- Competent user of IT software including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communicator with strong oral and written communication abilities
- Proven planning and organisation skills with good attention to detail
- Effective time management with ability to meet tight deadlines Methodical, questioning nature in order to find and solve root cause
