**What is the role?**

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Construction team. The role typically reports to Contracts Manager.

The purpose of the role is to prepare the ground before, during and after the construction project, in accordance with NHBC and company standards.

**The role will include**:

- Manage and prioritise workloads in order to complete high-quality ground preparations in a timely manner and in accordance with set NHBC standards.
- Operating plant machinery, such as excavators and dumper trucks to ensure site is prepared for build
- Redirecting waterways and connecting pipes with existing pipework.
- Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group's HS&E Policy and ensure compliance throughout team

**What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?**
- Familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working on-site in similar roles
