**Description**:
PSSG is a private equity backed software company, providing payroll and HR services into the UK and international markets. The organisation is growing rapidly and investing heavily in new product development, company acquisition, and sales and marketing.
We are looking for a UK Head of Sales to join our rapidly growing sales department. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of PSSG, they will be responsible for the entire UK sales team. They will sit alongside the Head of International Sales & Head of Marketing and will manage a team of 7 direct reports. There is an opportunity for this person to establish themselves within the Private Equity space, and to become a leader of the organisation as PSSG grows over the coming years.
You can find our modern offices situated within Hoults Yard on the edge of the Ouseburn Valley with its flourishing creative networks, abundant local heritage and lively social scene. Hoults Yard is a vibrant community which includes quirky cafés, leisure facilities and other local businesses.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop plans and strategies with the CSO to develop new business, and cross sell into the existing business client base
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly on the performance against target for the UK sales team, supported by the Sales Operations Manager
- Prepare forecasts and KPI reports for the CSO and CEO
- Personally help close key strategic deals
- Support sales people with contract negotiation and closure
- Run cadence meetings daily for the UK sales organisation
- Plan and manage team training programmes, onboarding, and the development of the sales organisation
- Work collaboratively with other teams across the organisation
- Work collaboratively with the head of marketing to develop inbound lead strategies
- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline across
- Act as coach and line manager for each sales person on the team, manage resources across the team to ensure deals are well supported
