Sulzer, a world-leading manufacturer of pumping, agitation, mixing, separation, and purification technologies, is seeking a Production Planner to join our vibrant team in Leeds. Your meticulous planning skills will ensure seamless coordination across various departments, optimizing resource allocation and meeting production targets. **Your main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Develop production schedules and plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimising costs.
- Coordinate with various departments including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Utilize SAP to manage production orders, material requirements, and capacity planning.
- Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications and standards are met.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Previous experience in production planning within an engineering or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using MRP/ERP systems is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
