A multi-site operation, situated in **Holbeach Hurn** and **Fosdyke **Lincolnshire, we consist of a 6,500 acre farming operation, joint ventures in fresh produce and four factories, employing over 600 people that package fresh, wholehead and prepared vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.

**The Role**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Despatch Operative** to join our team in **Holbeach Hurn**, working **06:00-18:00** on a **4on/4off** shift pattern.

You will be responsible for order picking and despatching, operating within one of our business units. Ensuring that finished goods are despatch on time, in full, safely, and securely.

**Duties to include**:

- Picking stock for despatch in line with customer orders. Ensuring pallets are stacked and wrapped securely
- Loading and unloading a variety of goods vehicles from vans to HGV’s using pallet and forklift trucks
- Completing paperwork for customer orders including delivery notes and pallet labels
- Communication with hauliers regarding collection changes where applicable
- Create, print, and scan pallet information cards (SSCC’s)
- Convert customer orders from case quantities to pallet quantities, building load plans and booking transport
- Completion of inventory stock counts
- Update relevant systems as required.

**About you**
- A can do attitude is a must
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a small team
- Current industry recognised forklift and ROPT licenses essential
- Shunter license and experience desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills
