**Electrical Maintenance Supervisor**:

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team at the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People based in Little France, Edinburgh. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with participation in an out of hours on call rota, and overtime when necessary.

**The role**:

- Reporting to the Operations Manager (Hard FM)
- To supervise all mechanical and electrical building work to ensure it is carried out and completed in compliance with the contract specification
- To allocate work ensuring its completion in accordance with performance monitoring systems
- To supervise, lead and motivate all staff within the role responsibility
- Ensure all paperwork is completed within time scales, planning and prioritising works to agreed deadlines
- Continually monitor conduct and performance standards of all staff and contractors
- Manage shift rotations including cover for holidays, absence and rest breaks
- Undertake regular team briefings and tool-box talks to promote best practice and resolve operational issues
- Ensure effective supervision of all contractors including a company induction
- To be a main point of contact for Client Representatives
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with participation in an out of hours on call rota, and overtime when necessary.

**The person**:

- Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience
- Previous hospital experience within a similar building services role is essential
- Must be appointed in at least 2 AP roles, and attend any training as necessary to maintain AP role
- Experience of managing/supervising a team with good people management skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and able to take ownership of projects
- Strongly client focussed with ability to resolve issues satisfactorily and a flexible can do approach
