Lead Practitioner

Our client, a reputable and well-established nursery, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged between 0-5 years. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood development and eager to contribute to the growth and development of young children.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
- Observe and monitor children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing necessary support.
- Promote positive behaviour and social skills among children.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians, providing regular feedback on their child's development.
- Maintain accurate records and document children's daily activities.
- Ensure the nursery's policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of child development theories and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
- First Aid certification (desirable).

**Salary**: £23,990.00-£27,000.00 per year
