We provide **residential care** for young people from ten to eighteen years old and are looking for a **Night Shift Care Worker**, at our **three bed** care home near **Drongan, Ayrshire**.

We provide a homely, safe and supportive environment and promote responsibility, growth, learning and positive outcomes for young people who come to stay with us.

As part of a team, you will provide day-to-day care, support and direction to young people who can have challenging, emotional and behavioural needs. The role requires you to work, in line with national child care practice, and use planned activities as a medium for healing and. It also requires that...
- You enjoy working with young people and assisting them with their daily activities and emotional needs?
- You will be able to forge supportive relationships with young people and genuinely enjoy their company and want the best for them?
- You are a friendly, calm, compassionate, reliable and resilient individual, even in the face of challenge?
- You want to gain professional qualifications and knowledge to support your work?

You will be able to work **10pm to 10am shifts, (8 or 14 shifts in every 4 week rota). Salary £11.45 per hour.**

Whilst previous experience would be desirable, excellent support skills, the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
