Role Overview

We require a Business and Data Analyst to support the CRM Manager with enhancing existing data, capturing new areas of data, updating and refining reporting requirements and improve our business systems and processes to streamline the management of dataalongside the automation of reporting requirements.

As a Business and Data Analyst you will use a range of analytical tools including BI software, CRM systems and spreadsheets for analysis, reporting and the creation of accurate, data driven insight for the relevant management teams.
You'll be working with diverse and complex information to understand current performance, trends and predict future outcomes.

You will work with key stakeholders across all departments to provide insight and develop relationships to identify opportunities, enhance current practice, challenge, and support business strategy.

Supported by the CRM Management you with assist with the production and development of reporting requirements.
The role offers both independent and team-based work alongside the CRM Systems Manager who will support you throughout your role.

This position offers real progression opportunities into more senior roles as we continue to develop and invest in our people.

Duties of this role include:

- Insight - create and analyse data to fulfil information requests and provide useful commentary, recommendations, or actions
- Reporting - ensure regular reporting meets business requirements in terms of content & frequency, and is developed in line with opportunities for addition insight
- Data Integrity - closely monitor data sources to ensure they are cleansed, organised and accurate for reporting
- Automation & Visualisation - support the development of digital and automated reporting through BI dashboards that are compelling, robust, insightful and accessible as required
- CRM Development - support the development of the company CRM and systems to ensure data is accurate, relevant, secure and can be reported in the most efficient structure
- Projects and Systems - support the development of other systems and projects that require input of insight, data or systems knowledge

Skills and Capabilities

Given the breadth of the role, we would never expect anyone to be experienced in all aspects. A lot will have to be learnt whilst doing. However, ultimately the role requires the person to be competent in the following:

- Good analytical problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- An eye for detail with an ability to extract data available accurately and analyse to present greater insight and understanding that can help decision making.
- Ability to learn and optimise the use our existing business systems to support with data management and collection including CRM systems (Experience in Zoho or Saleforce would be an advantage)
- An appetite to, and interest in coding and learning to the extent required
- A general willingness to figure it out when faced with something new
