**About the Role**

This is an exciting and unique opportunity in a new and future-looking role, to rapidly increase the number of public on-street electric vehicle charging points in the London Borough of Sutton. This is to prepare for; the anticipated growth of electric vehicles, with the Government 2030 deadline fast approaching of the sale, new petrol and diesel vehicles and the expansion of the ULEZ to Greater London. We need to work at pace with a range of EV operators to deliver on-street EV charging at scale across Sutton for the benefit of our residents, businesses and the climate Get involved.

Your work will include project managing the delivery of EV charging projects. These could involve lamp column charging, fast charging, rapid charging and potentially some innovative EV projects, working closely with EV charging operators to deliver and a range of internal colleagues and stakeholders, such as London Councils and TfL, as well as communicating with residents and councillors.

You will work within the Highways and Transport shared service which delivers Highways schemes across Kingston and Sutton but with focus on the London Borough of Sutton.
