Role Overview and Responsibilities:
This a full time 39 hour per week role, Tuesday to Friday, with overtime achievable on Monday and Saturdays.
**Primary Job Purpose**
To ensure all product is checked & shipped in line with Purchase order requirements and is delivered with the aid of company shipping process & procedures
**Requirements of the role**
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement of health and safety performance and zero harm through identifying and managing all site and people hazards
- Communicate the site Health, Safety & Environmental Policy (or policies).
- Provide the necessary resources and time to implement the TT Electronics minimum HSE standards provide recognition and/or celebrate significant HSE achievements at all levels.
- Complete over eye checks on product as per customer/internal requirements.
- Responsible for creating & checking against shipment C of C’s on behalf of the business
- Pack and ship product in line with system process On Time In Full (OTIF) KPI’s.
- Work with the Operations team to ensure OTIF commitments are meet in relation to shipping product on time.
- Conduct & use quality feedback sessions for process improvement
- Support the Logistics Manager on RMA investigations where needed.
- Create packing specifications and SOP’s as a part of continuous improvement activity.
**Health, Safety & Environment**
- Support the creation of risk assessments and the roll out pf them to all that are affected.
- Ensure that operators are trained to the specified work instruction and risk assessment.
- Ensure that the H&S reporting system is being followed.
- Ensure all staff were safety shoes and glasses where required.
- Ensure that all near misses and accidents are recorded and analysed for root cause and corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Proven track record in effective organisation and day to day planning ability.
- Warehousing and stock controls
- Support continuous improvement activities within the department.
- Train team members in the despatch process
- Ability to work effectively within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Lean awareness (VSM, 6’s, problem solving, visual management, TPM)
- Manual handling.
- A good understanding of risk assessments and able to contribute to the creation of them.
- Creation of C of C’s.& understanding document and its contents
- The use of Epicor and business systems to locate key information.
- Use of shipping courier portals
