The Milestone M25 Framework Team is currently looking to recruit a Road space planner to work on our Pavement and COFA framework contracts on the M25, based in Waltham Cross on the A10. The M25 is the busiest section of motorway in Europe and requires careful and efficient planning of work. If you have or are looking for a career in highways working on the M25 will give you experience and challenge that no other highways project can offer.

As the Road space planner, you will be part of our M25 Framework team who are responsible for the planning and delivery of works across the entire M25 network. You will be responsible for the booking of road space, this is a key role in assuring delivery will be the coordination of road space with other contractors, coordination with third party stakeholders for example like TfL and the securing of road space to enable us to deliver the clients schemes to both programme and budget.

As the Road space planner your duties & responsibilities will be:

- Booking road space using the NOMS system as per the forward look ahead programme.
- Liaise with local authorities and 3rd party stakeholders for scheduling planned works.
- Manage and own network occupancy planning.
- Coordinate and engage with Framework Community contractors.
- Proactively identify network occupancy sharing opportunities.
- Liaising with applicants to ensure that clashes are being resolved in suitable timescales.
- Attend and participate in Framework Community forums.
- Participating in weekly road space co-ordination meetings and following up actions where required.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Submit permits and notices within required timescale.
- Work closely with the site team to monitor and plan the works in line with the programme
- Populate and manage value registers
- Update and manage Cost of poor quality registers.
- Attend Balance Scorecard meetings and produce feedback to continuously improve the delivery.
- Monitor and compile key performance indicators.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend Traffic Management drawings.
- Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Completed the NOMS training.
- Excellent communication and Organisational Skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of M25 motorway network and key arterial link roads to London (M4, M3, M1, etc.).
- Driving Licence.
- Experience of working in highways desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage complex issues and communicate these effectively.
- Resilient under pressure and able to meet deadlines.

**Additional Information**
- Site office is based at J25 of the M25, between Enfield and Waltham Cross.
- The position will require attendance at client offices based as South Mimms, Dartford and Leatherhead on a regular basis.
