We’re looking for a UI Designer to build and maintain multiple websites, create marketing campaigns, and craft stunning mobile designs for our insurance products and services. If you have a strong understanding of design principles, and you can create simple and engaging digital experiences that delight, retain, and add value to our customers, we want to hear from you.

**Role**: UI Designer

**Location**: Liverpool/Hybrid working

**Salary**: £30,000 to £40,000 Per annum

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Working hours**: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
What you’ll be doing

You'll work closely with our website engineers, business analysts and the Marketing team to explore customer and business problems, solve design challenges with simple and impactful solutions. Success is measured by how impactful your designs are to conversion and our customers’ trust and desire to purchase products from us.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design simple, intuitive and responsive interfaces for our websites and mobile apps
- Create persuasive visual assets for various websites, marketing campaigns, including social media graphics and digital ads.
- Assist in refining and maintaining the visual identity of our insurance brand across different platforms and materials.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to design guidelines in all materials.
- Own all stages of the design and creative process from concept through launch.
- Collaborate with the dev team to ensure seamless implementation of assets and journeys.
- Build a robust design system that works across brands.
- Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and improve the user experience.
- Regularly perform design audits and propose improvements to ensure quality and consistency across brands and product lines.
- Prioritize appropriately: make trade-offs to speed up learning and balance competing priorities.
- Build a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives in the insurance and financial services market.

**Requirements**:

- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise designing for both web and mobile.
- History of leading discovery and ideation and aligning the team around a vision and approach.
- Understanding of user-centred design principles and ability to conduct user research and testing.
- Experience shipping mobile and web experiences in an agile environment.
- No ego when it comes to product or design; strong commitment to doing what is right for the customer and the company.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, have no fear to drive and operate with mínimal guidance.
- Experience in insurtech or regulated industries would be a strong plus.
