Slough Council for Voluntary Service (Slough CVS) is a small charity, supporting the voluntary and community sector in Slough. We are passionate about helping the voluntary sector to work more effectively in the local community, providing infrastructure, training, funding and volunteering support.
We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to complete all bookkeeping and accounting practices to support the sound financial management of the charity.
This is a key role within Slough CVS and as such we are looking for an individual who has had previous finance, bookkeeping and accounts experience, preferably within the voluntary sector. The Finance Officer will be responsible for all finance related tasks across all projects and requires an individual who is confident, has strong communication skills and a high degree of accuracy, numeracy and financial acumen.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger is essential as is the ability to work positively within a small, effective team.
