An opportunity for an Operations Controller to join our team here at Biggin Hill has presented itself. You will be part of the team dedicated to ensuring the smooth running of the Voluxis Operations team.

VOLUXIS a well-established VIP/ Corporate Jet AOC Operator who currently manage a mixed fleet of business jets offering a tailored service to our customers who may be travelling for business or leisure. We are looking for someone to join our team who is commercially astute, however puts safety as a central focus of everything we do and knows how to work effectively as part of a team. **Job Description**:
**Duties include**:

- Flight preparation and providing required information;
- Preparing the operational and ATS flight plans;
- Furnishing the flight crew, with appropriate information that may be necessary for the safe conduct of the flight;
- In the event of an emergency, initiating relevant procedures as specified in the - Emergency Response Plan.
- Control, analysis and storage of flight operations documents and data according to the company policy. Maintaining a library of current manuals, regulatory publications and other essential documents associated with operational control;
- Interacting with all operating branches/departments to ensure all day-of flight opportunities, operating constraints and all irregular operation recovery options are identified.
- Supports, briefs and assists the PIC by providing flight operational support providing a Dispatch release, but not limited to, flight planning, flight watch, weather briefing and communications as required by the applicable sections of the Operations Manual, Part A.
- Ensuring through effective over-sight that flights are safely and efficiently planned, cleared and monitored in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Avoid taking any actions which would conflict with the procedures established by ATC, The Meteorological and Communication Service or the Air Operator Certificate.
- Initiating and co-ordinating airport handling when diversions to offline airports are required.
- Organising aircraft handling for the schedule
- Providing a flight watch service for all Voluxis flights.
- Provide a flight planning service on a shift pattern, working days and nights
- As the focal point in Operations for flight and schedule management, controllers interact with the key personnel and organizations:

- Familiar with European aviation legislation’s
- Experience of worldwide flight planning
- Flexible to the demands of the role
- Ability to work well within team
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent organise
- Proven ability to work in a face paced environment with the ability to offer outstanding customer experience
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Ability to work a 24/7 shift pattern which is likely to be 4 on 4 off, 12-hour days and night shifts
