To assist in the planning, organisation and implementation of resuscitation training and education both within the Trust and to external organisations, in accordance with the guidelines of the Trust, the Resuscitation Council (UK) and the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation. To work as a member of the cardiac arrest team providing specialist clinical advice, including specific advice on and interpretation of complex documentation and procedures on clinical and related professional issues. Inclusive of attance at cardiac arrests/emergency situations, involving adults and paediatrics. To participate in research and audit in relation to Resuscitation.
To participate in trials and evaluations of resuscitation equipment across the Trust. Ability to direct Resuscitation Council (UK) and Advanced Life Support Group Courses. Assist with the ongoing development of the service.
