Baler Operator

An exciting new opportunity has become available for Baler Operator to work with our client, who is a Plastic Recycling specialist, based in Hartlepool (TS25)

The Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the site equipment and will be responsible for the safe operation of the site equipment and site operations. As a Baler Operator, you will be responsible for operating the baling machine, ensuring the site floor is free from all cardboard, paper and excess waste.

You will be a team player who has an awareness of health and safety in the workplace and is able to communicate (in English).

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Set up machinery for operation
- Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
- Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
- Troubleshoot issues and perform / liaise with maintenance
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area

Pay between £10.42 - £14.00 per hour

Working Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am

**Salary**: £10.42-£15.00 per hour
