**CIPS SKILLS COACH - WORKING FROM HOME**

A CIPS Skills Coach is a person who works with CIPS students to help them study for and gain CIPS qualifications.

This is a full time permanent role which must be performed within office hours and not evenings and weekends.

CIPS professionals often become a CIPS Skills Coach as they train to become a fully fledged CIPS Tutor. Working with a caseload of CIPS students a CIPS Skills Coach guides and supports learners with their studies. Timely completion is vital, so a CIPS Skills Coach monitors the progress of their caseload of learners ensuring their learners stay on track.

A CIPS Skills Coach is allocated a mentor, who will be a highly skilled CIPS Tutor. This mentor will put them through a train the trainer programme and provide hands on regular reviews to ensure progress is being made and training skills are being developed.

Each learner will have an individual learning plan. Individual Learning Plans define a learner's academic, personal, and employment goals. They separate these goals into individual targets, accompanied by reviews - the educational equivalent of professional appraisals. A CIPS Skills Coach monitors and manages their learners' Individual Learning Plans.

A CIPS Skills Coach delivers training sessions on various aspects of the CIPS curriculum at levels 3, 4, 5 and 6. The training material is designed to be engaging, challenging and ultimately to develop the knowledge and skills of the learner.

To ensure the training being delivered is always engaging and relevant, training material is constantly reviewed and enhanced. This is often achieved through brain storming sessions with other CIPS training professionals.

A great career awaits within work based learning (apprenticeships). You can develop your teaching qualifications to postgraduate level and there are good avenues for career progression.
- You must possess CIPS level 4 or MCIPS. Applicants without a CIPS qualification will not be considered. Sorry.
- You must have a sound work history of several years within procurement. Ideally at managerial level.
- A driving license and own vehicle. Whilst the role is primarily remote there will be occasional visits to the head office for your own training and development and to work with your colleagues on brain storming sessions.
- You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a good standard of literacy.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
