Our client would like to recruit a Sales support person to join their team of 10. Please find all the details below:
**Job Title**: Events Support Executive

**Location**: Near Faversham/Chilham

**Salary**: £28k - £30k OTE £45k

**Hours**:Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, ideally office based but your new Manager is flexible to 1 day from home once you've learnt the business

**As theEvents Support Executive your duties would be to**:

- Answer all inbound sales enquiries within an hour.
- Manage your own diary of enquiries, call backs and meetings with clients and suppliers using Salesforce
- Open questioning and understanding of the clients brief to match them with the correct event.
- Design bespoke events based on the client's requirements.
- Source venues and suppliers and negotiate to get accurate packages and competitive pricing.
- Price events accurately to maximise gross profit.
- Create relevant and targeted proposals for the client.
- Manage follow up calls and additional support to assist the client and convert leads to sales.
- Book all suppliers and main outline of event before handing to the Event planning team and assist planning where needed.
- Assist with the maintenance of relationships of existing clients where needed.
- Contribute to new event development, relationships with new and existing suppliers and keep all information recorded and updated in the relevant places.
- Assist the wider team and management with projects that contribute the overall well being of the company.
- Possibly assist with event managing and attending key events when required.

**Skills required**:

- Experience working in an office based sales support position
- Events experience/knowledge would be a huge advantage but not essential
- Salesforce experience ideally
- Somebody who is empathetic with customers
- A passion for providing an outstanding, consultative, professional service
- A drive to succeed and represent this amazing business at all times
