**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- To manage and control the storage, shipment and collection of completed pump orders the customers’ expectations.
- Maintain the accuracy records of pumps on the JDE system in relation to the holding location of said items inclusive of the business’ Demo stock.
- Performs clerical duties associated with shipping and receiving in addition to instructions and adding packers. Works in cooperation with the Warehouse Supervisor in the executions and sequencing of shipments. Has responsibility for the maintenance of records and reports in accordance with procedures established by the Company
- To support Stores as and when required.
**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for the administration and compliance of export shipment of goods, paperwork and processes.
- Manage and coordinate all import and export freight agents, courier services and other haulage services contracts and monitor performance.
- Responsible for the correct storage of all export and import shipping documents in accordance with IDEX and UK HMRC requirements.
- Manage and maintain all shipping document services - Chamber of Commerce, DGN notes and any other shipping-related documents.
- Ensure through customer shipping services that verbal and written communication is accurate and concise.
- Continual development and improvement of processes.
- Able to ensure that the labelling of products, correct weight and dimensions and postal/delivery services match the customer and business expectations.
- Be detail-orientated, with good reasoning skills that inform the decision-making process.
- Management of third-party offsite storage of completed pumps.
- Support OTD objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as determined by the business for our 80’s and 20’s customers and support spares were required.
- Support the outgoing goods storage to prevent damage and deterioration of customers order(s)
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure payment receipt to enable product delivery adherence.
- Implement the company’s Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices within the office and warehouse areas of responsibility.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the quality of the product and service for our customers is maintained at the highest possible standard.
- Support packing area for customer orders as and when required.
- Maintain full SOPs of freight and dispatch procedures in line with QMS process flow and all non-audited SOPs.
- Complete arrival compliance of intercoms owned by Godiva through to customer processes.
- Support any audits relating to import or export documents and processes.
- Support and train other users on any shipping-related software - MyDHL+, EZ-Cert etc
- Proactively monitor and continually improve JDE and other systems to ensure compliance with documents and processes relating to shipping and receiving.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct in dealings with carriers, vendors and customers.
- Audit stores location through cycle counting**.**

**Essential Skills/Experience**:
- Knowledge of the freight and transport industries.
- Knowledge of importing and forwarding
- Proficient with IT systems
- Experience gained in the manufacturing industry, within a warehouse/distribution function
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise.
- Highly customer service focused you will possess a track record of building successful internal and external partnerships
- Excellent communication skills combined with strong attention to detail;
- Confident personality used to working on own initiative but equally happy as part of the wider despatch team;
**Desirable Skills/Experience**:
- Excellent of knowledge of Excel
- Working knowledge in warehouse software.
- Up to date with all legislation i.e. Road Transport Operations, managing and storing goods, Health and safety
- Experience gained in the manufacturing industry, within a warehouse/distribution function
- Commercially focused and awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as legislation, fuel costs and environmental pressures.
- Excellent persuasion and influencing skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels including senior managers and directors.
- Ability to manage a number of projects and initiatives simultaneously.
**Salary**: £24,500.00-£31,000.00 per year
