We are looking for an experienced Reception Supervisor to join our team. The Reception is the hub of the hotel and so excellent communication skills and customer service experience is vital.

You will be responsible for leading the reception team and organising rotas. You will be required to train new staff that join your team, and work closely with our Accounts Manager in ensuring all payments are received and processed in a timely manner. You will also work alongside our Housekeeping Manager and Maintenance Team in relaying any feedback with regards to bedrooms.

You will be checking guests in and out, answering the telephones and directing calls, taking reservations, taking detailed messages and passing on to the relevant person. You will also be responsible for taking payments and producing bills for guests to settle.

We are looking for someone to work 5 days per week. The shifts are over 7 days and are usually 7am-3pm / 3pm -11pm. This role does include weekend work and public holidays.

Experience in a reception environment is essential. Experience is using Rezlynx would be advantageous, however, full training will be given.

The York Pavilion Hotel is a privately owned and operated hotel based in Fulford. We have 62 individually designed bedrooms, a busy bar and restaurant plus function rooms that can seat up to 120 guests.

We offer paid breaks, meals on duty, Bike 2 Work scheme, tips share and weekly pay.

Please ensure you are able to reliably commute to and from the hotel, at the shift times above.

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
