We are seeking a dedicated and motivated midwife to lead the Maternity Tobacco Dependency Team, prioritising Element 1 of the 'Saving Babies Lives v2' care bundle (SBLV2) and act as the lead within the division. The lead will manage a small team of staff to directly support pregnant people through their journey to a smoke-free pregnancy, monitoring element 1 of the Saving Babies Lives care bundle and have responsibility for the collation of appropriate evidence for the Clinical Negligence Scheme Trust (CNST) submission. The postholder will also assume the role of Tobacco Dependency lead, improving standards of Carbon Monoxide (CO) monitoring, referral to Tobacco Dependency service and training of all levels of staff within the service in all settings.
