Contracts Estimator

**Salary**: negotiable DOE - up to £50,000 plus bonus

Location Aylesford

Hours: Monday
- Friday 8:30am-5pm

My client who has made £15Million profit in the last year and thrive throughout the colder and wetter periods of the year are looking to recruit a Contracts Estimator within their sales team. My client became a franchise in 2019 and service Kent and Sussexarea. This role will require for you to come from the water industry or building services with a strong knowledge of pumps.

You will be looking after key accounts quoting clients on building services, above and below ground pumps. You will be working in a close knit team and work with prioritised quotations which have been generated by the sales team. You will be supplied witha list of your suppliers who you will build relationships with and get the best price rates. My client offers fantastic training and has a smooth sailing onboarding process with regular career progression staying within operations or heading into commercial.

Duties of the Contracts Estimator:

- Work with the sales team to understand potential clients needs and time frames to manage workload.
- Liaise with a range on manufactures to gain knowledge of pricing for products with negotiated fees and construct in detail quotations for leads.
- Ensure you have quotations from suppliers in writing form to ensure you can get the price secured and inform the client for pricing.
- Follow up quotations given to potential clients and win business against competitors to then be passed over for works to begin.

Requirements and experience of this Contracts Estimator:

- Essential to have worked in building services and water authority
- Strong knowledge of above and below ground pumps
- Experience working within fast paced environment while having attention to detail
- Organised to complete all prioritised workload
- Excellent communication skills is required and experience speaking with suppliers
