- **About this opportunity**
- We are seeking to recruit a Customer Services Advisor Level 2 based in South Lakeland House, Kendal.
- After an initial period dealing with general enquires this post will primarily be handing revenues and benefits queries (council tax, business rates and housing benefits). Previous experience in this area of work would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
- We are looking for someone who has a customer services background and is experienced in:
- Providing accurate advice and guidance to a wide and diverse range of customers either face to face, over the phone or in writing
- Utilising internal systems and software packages to capture accurate and relevant details from the customer to record, manage and resolve requests
- Triaging requests for support and assistance and referring on to relevant teams
- Gathering information and utilising resources to signpost customers to third party support
- Dealing with sensitive, and, sometimes emotive and challenging situations
- The role focuses on delivering high quality customer service putting customers at the heart of everything that we do.
